New travel options to St. Louis

“Public transit” travel options between Kansas City and St. Louis improved on April 2 when discount bus line Megabus launched service. Tickets must be purchased online at www.megabus.com and cost as little as $1 if you purchase far enough ahead. Megabus departs from the ATA’s 10th and Main Transit Center at 12:15 pm and 8:30 pm. Greyhound has four daily departures (12:40 am, 7:15 am, 11:25 am, and 8:40 pm) from its 11th and Troost depot, and Amtrak has two daily departures (12:30 pm and 4:30 pm) from Union Station.
