RTA Annual Meeting yields new members to the
Board of Directors

At the Annual Meeting on May 16, the membership approved the slate for the 2007-2008 Board of Directors. In addition to the reappointment of six current Board members, five new Board members were approved. Among the new Board members are the Honorable Mark Funkhouser, Mayor of Kansas City, Missouri; Tom Hoenig, President of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City; Cynthia “Kitty” McCoy, President of Enterprise Control Systems; Ted Rieck, Vice President with TranSystems, Inc.; and the Honorable Mike Sanders, Jackson County Executive.
We are very pleased to have these exciting members of the community join the Board as we continue to work to improve the status of public transit in our region
